AVEBURY 2007

Since Autumn Equinox 1992, when Jacki Paterson, author of "Tree Wisdom", was raised as the first Archdruidess of Avebury, and the first woman Archdruidess in 1500 years, Avebury has always been a meeting place for many orders and celebrants.

The Free and Open Gorsedd of Caer Abiri has tradionally encouraged free speech and free participation by druids, wiccans, and pagans of all denominations, beginning with a simple ceremony and extending its embrace to all who wish to contribute. In the summer months it is often proceeded by procession and pageantry all of its own.
